Votive Feast
"Les corps Saints"
Each year, on the
first weekend of September, the Saints Prime and Felician are
celebrated. They were two martyred brothers who granted the
village a fountain - a miraculous spring spurted out from under
the hoof of the mule which carried their relics. The mass is
celebrated on Sunday morning, accompanied by the Harmonie
Beaulieu-Vayrac and preceded by a procession to the Saints Prime
and Felician fountain, which is situated on the side of the road
on the edge of the village. On Sunday afternoon, the procession
of flower-decked floats takes place surrounded by bands and
street animations. Fireworks are set off on Saturday or on
Sunday. There is also a big fun fair for 2 days, free dancing
for everybody on Saturday and Sunday evenings, and a cycling
race on Saturday evening called “les 100 tours de boulevard”.
The Walnut Route Walk
Each year the last
Sunday of September the tourist board organises a 28km walk.
